About Us

At Totally Gluten Free LTD, we believe everyone deserves the joy of freshly baked goods—no compromises. Founded in 2010 and based in Lacombe, Alberta, we have one clear mission: making gluten-free easy.

Our story began when we recognized how hard it can be to find gluten-free bread, desserts and meals that genuinely taste like something special—not just “free from” but free to enjoy.

In the summer of 2021, we renovated our storefront, creating a brighter, larger, and more welcoming space. We now offer a cozy lunch counter and a few tables where you can sit and enjoy a light meal.

We’ve built a bakery + café that serves our community with the same care and quality you’d expect from a traditional bakery—only everything here is gluten-free.

In Loving Memory of Joe Van Gelderen. Joe Van Gelderen, beloved CEO of Totally Gluten Free Ltd., passed away on March 5th, 2024, due to health-related issues. Joe’s passion, leadership, and kindness left an indelible mark on our company and community. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and worked with him.
